FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AND OTHER ROAD USERS TO SEE YOU WHILST WE ARE OUT RUNNING.  THE COMMITTEE AND CLUB WILL TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR SAFETY WITHOUT ONE.  PLEASE ENSURE YOU EITHER WEAR A HI VIZ TOP,JACKET OR VEST.

Monday Night Is Distance Night !

On Monday night we all go for a club run.  This can vary in distance for each ability of runner, It can be between 3 Miles and 10 Miles.  We always have at least 3 groups of runners going out at varying speeds.  


No one is left behind and once a month we have a full club run at the slowest pace for all to run together. We then have a quick  shower and head to the bar for the Monthly Social Drink and chat !


Up and Coming Runs. 


25th June :- Club run 4 mile, 6 mile and 8 mile different pace keepers

2nd July :- Woodland Run ! 5/6 miles at a slow pace

9th July :- Sea View ! run along sea wall to Portskewett back through castle

16th July :- Caerwent Loop , Old favourite either 5 mile or 7 mile loop

23rd July :- Rogiet, Magor and back down moors road

30th July :- Off road madness with Mally !!

 

Wednesday Night Is Interval Night !

On  Wednesday we normally do a speed session.  This could be mile intervals along the moors road or a Fun Ladder session up through Cas Troggy.  

We also make good use of the local Castle in Caldicot by doing speed sessions around the perimeter of the Castle.

All sessions are taken by either :- 

Andy Reeks :- Head Coach and Chairman .

Nathan Reeks :- Club Captain.

Geoff Markey :- Club Secetary.

Don't worry if your not a speed freak !! We split into groups of between 3 / 10 groups  and there is ALWAYS someone to run with.

We always have a guided warm up and cool down.

27th June :- Track Session :- 6 x 800 with 400 rec 

4th July :- Track Session :- 14 x 200 with 200 rec

11th July :- Castle session large loops small loop recovery

18th July :- Track Session :- 10 x 400 with 400 recovery 

25th July :- Track Session :- Pyramids
